ABOUT MEVisions of LightI am a Hobart born photographer who now has the pleasure of calling Cradle Mountain home. My art is self-taught and has grown in tune with the time spend at Cradle Mountain where I am blessed to witness the changing of seasons and moods of the land. Landscapes have a yin and yang, they can create hardship and joy. I aim to capture these balances between the light and dark elements that surreptitiously determine life. I believe that culture is a process not a reality and only by discarding emblemic style can we learn what lies within. My true inspiration for photography is found in the joy of amazing, passionate, likeminded souls who visit Cradle Mountain with their own journeys of discovery and boundless energy. There are times when the moment is not about solitude but the joy sharing and bonds formed.
